Assignments and Research Activities:

Scientific co-worker of the research group Microbiology and Bioengineering. The main task is the optimization of production and formulation of entomopathogenic fungi against pest insects of apple and soybean.

• Participation in the project Bio-Entosource - ”Biodiversity as resource for the development of microbial-based insecticides in sustainable agriculture and forestry“
• Identification of a suitable fungal strain by spore counting and biomass measurement
• Development of the formulation of entomopathogenic fungi by modifying the fermentation process
• Optimisation of production parameters of entomopathogenic fungi in liquid and solid-state fermentation process
• Comparison between liquid and solid-state fermentation in terms of sporulation, spore yield and biomass production
