In the case of BSF, the substances used for analysis are subject to batch-dependent fluctuations in fluorescence. Additionally, despite consistent molar mass, changes in consistency can lead to issues with applicability in different measurement systems (liquid application vs. dust application). Therefore, alternative test substances are continually sought that can meet the requirements for drift and deposit measurements, as well as studies involving dusts, while exhibiting comparable properties.
