Overall objective of the project

The "5G pioneer project" focuses on scenarios how to deal with the challenges of the climate change in agriculture and forestry as well as an environment-protecting use of fertilizers and plant protection. To increase the productivity of agriculture and forestry and stay in touch with the agile market, an improved digital networking of the value chains is nessecary. Furthermore constistent transparency should lead to an increased and continuous understanding of the system in rural areas. The use of the latest drone-, robotics-, measuring- and sensor technology will result in an improvement of yields, a sustainable use of ressources and therefore in the protection of environment and nature. The results and new findings will be shared with the economy and the community by the project partners.
