In this research project, various potato genotypes are tested for their resistance against the potato cyst nematode Globodera pallida. The genotypes are provided by the breeders as tissue culture plants and seeds. The aim of this initial research project is to identify resistant genotypes at an early stage and to be able to use them for further breeding work, but avoiding the usual destructive sampling.
