Overall objective of the project

Means for the improvement of ecological functionality in orchards will be implemented and scientifically evaluated in orchards of collaborating commercial fruitgrowers. The overall goal of this project is the strenghtening of biological diversity in order to reduce the application of synthetic pesticides.. A numbers of measurements will be validated in order to reach this goal. Besides, all measures will be applied according to the particular farms and ecnomomically validated. Effects on pest regulation will be recorded.
