This project is a follow up of the COST Action 1407 DIVAS and EUPHRESCO Community Network project 2019_I-321, VIRNET. The network should be continued and consolidated and new partners brought together to facilitate knowledge exchange. The project shall aim to organise an annual meeting to exchange and learn practices between virologists working on different crops and in different fields (such as diagnostics, research, certification and bio-informatics). In addition, these meetings will provide a platform to develop strategies for validation of ‘HTS protocols’ for certification, monitoring, etiology, etc., to develop and validate harmonised diagnostic protocols using HTS, to initiate collaborative research projects and/or training courses.
