Definition of a common technical procedure for all federal states concerning the inspection of the functionality of plant protection equipment in use in accordance with existing national technical requirements, in order to eliminate defects due to wear and tear of equipment. Coordination of the work amongst the expert panel of the federal plant protection agencies as well as collecting national statistical information about the implementation of the national action plan. The legal basis for these actions are § 16 (4) no. 3 and § 57 (2) no. 7 PflSchG.
