Overall objective of the project

JKI is a think tank for scientific work according to technical questions concerning plant protection equipment: Pulse width modulation can be used to control the volume flow of nozzles at constant pressure without significantly changing the droplet size. In investigations on test benches in the laboratory as well as in field investigations, the influence of the pulsed volume flow on the quality of the longitudinal distribution is determined and evaluated with the help of distribution measurements. A change in droplet size, as the most important influence factor for drift, is being investigated both in the wind tunnel and in the field.
