Overall objective of the project

New legal regulations on documentation obligations for the use of plant protection products and statistical requirements on the part of the EU create new framework conditions for the fulfillment of the resulting increased quantitative, structural and temporal data requirements. In order to reduce to a minimum the additional financial, personnel and material burden on farmers, the administration and the responsible agencies resulting from the increase in data requirements, web-based documentation aids are to be developed that enable official tasks to be performed efficiently. The aim of this project is to develop an interoperable WEB platform "Digital Plant Protection Application Data Entry (DiPAgE)", which enables data entry of plant protection products use data by the farmer including additional official administrative data and data storage locally at the farmer as data owner in defined formats. The WEB platform is to be developed in such a way that it enables the transfer of the locally stored PPP use data into the further data infrastructure of the federal states and the federal government. The present project comprises 5 work packages (WP) with corresponding sub-work packages (UAP). At the beginning of the project the countries an evaluation of the data needs based on the current and potential based on the current and the potential legislation on documentation requirements of PPP applications in professional and part-time agriculture. part-time agriculture will take place. Based on this, a web platform is to be developed, which will hierarchically classify this data according to Intended use (official documentation, statistical survey, further survey) and hierarchy (obligatory/facultative) locally at the data owner's site in a defined format and, with the integration of data protection conformity and security, the data are then transferred to the the further data infrastructure. In cooperation with the states, administrative data is to be integrated in order to avoid duplicate data entry by the data owner. The prototype of the WEB-platform will then be organized by the farmers in the course of the current PAPA survey. in the course of the current PAPA survey. Feedback on optimization needs will be implemented in the application. The final version of the web application will then be published and made available to all stakeholders through broad to all interested parties via a wide range of channels.
