Participation as component leader and with technical experts in the EU twinning project with Ethiopia: Support to the Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Quality, Monitoring and Control Compliance Systems for Plant-based Primary and Semi-processed Agricultural Products in Ethiopia The JKI is responsible here for Component 3: "STRENGTHENING CAPACITIES OF COMPETENT AUTHORITIES IN SANITARY AND PHYTOSANITARY (SPS) AND PRODUCT QUALITY MONITORING AND EVALUATION MECHANISMS"which also includes post-harvest and stored product protection, as well as traceability. This component is being implemented by JKI-ÖPV in close collaboration with colleagues from JKI-Institute AG, the BVL and relevant German control institutions.
