• Head of the research group “Computational Epidemiology and Pathogen Analysis” (CEPA)
• Identification and monitoring of pathogenicity and health-associated markers in plant-associated microbial genomes and metagenomes
• Focus on the analysis of plant growth-promoting traits, pathogenicity factors, and high-molecular-weight antimicrobial components such as phage-like particles
• Development of a standardized and modular infrastructure for genome analysis within the framework of national reference laboratories, targeting bacteria, fungi, and viruses
• Application of phylogenomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and next-generation sequencing (NGS)
• Development of software and web applications
