Inhalt: Coordination units

The JKI coordination units  were set up in consultation with the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and are direct contacts for enquiries from the BMEL. They coordinate and pool the JKI expertise on a particular topic across the different institutes conducting research in that field.

The coordination units are affiliated to one of the JKI specialist institutes. This affiliation ensures their integration into the research environment and thus networking within the JKI and enables a timely response to the BMEL’s need for advice.

Four units are currently in place:

• arable agriculture
• grassland cultivation
• climate
• organic farming
