The press and public relations work at the JKI covers the following areas:

• Responding to journalist inquiries or connecting them with experts for specific issues of crop research.
• Issuing of press releases
  Membership in Informationsdienst Wissenschaft idw (German scientific information service): Press releases of the current year can be found here on our website; archive of press releases (see www.idw-online.de, search term JKI or before 2008 Biologische Bundesanstalt BBA)
• Organization of press events
• Responding to requests for images in connection with reporting on JKI topics
• Organization of or participation in events to help raise public awareness
• Coordination of participation in selected fairs and central initiatives in the agricultural sector
• Organization of guided tours for visitors (on request)
