• Head of the “Forest Quarantine” - Lab (i.a. living culture collection for Bursaphelenchus sp.)
• Performing reference functions within the framework of the National Reference Laboratory in the diagnostics of quarantine pests
• Research on pests and harmful organisms related to forest ecosystems
• Application of various molecular tools to identify these organisms
• Development of diagnostic methods to identify organisms directly from woody material
• Member of Panel on Quarantine Pests for Forestry der European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO)
• Organismic (microbial) diversity in wood and deadwood
