• Scientist in third party funded project “Novel resources for resistance breeding against insect pests and heat stress under low cropping intensities in oilseed rape (Res4StRes)“ (BMFTR)
• Development of novel high-throughput feeding bioassays testing cabbage root flies (Delia radicum)
• Screening of old winter oilseed rape and swede cultivars (Brassica napus), resyntheses and hybrids for resistance against the cabbage root fly as well as the rape pollen beetle (Brassicogethes aeneus) in greenhouse and field trials
• Untargeted and targeted metabolomic analysis of rapeseed with liquid chromatography (HPLC, LC-MS) for defence metabolites, especially glucosinolates
