Doctoral candidate on the project NemEmerge: An integrated set of novel approaches to counter the emergence and proliferation of invasive and virulent soil-borne nematodes with the following tasks.

• Evaluate cover crops rhizosphere microbiome supressiveness to root knot nematodes on potato
• Assessing field microbiome modulation by cover crops and supressiveness to phytonematodes in organic potato
• Characterising nematode microbial antagonists for control of root knot nematodes in organic potato farming  
• Assessing the use of glucosinolates-rich plant materials for control of phytonematodes in organic farming
