Research associate in the research group “Beneficial arthropods and functional biodiversity” in the EUPHRESCO-funded project “ConCydalima - potential for using IPM tools for the long-term regulation of the box tree moth (Cydalima perspectalis) and other invasive lepidopterans”.

• Surveys on the status quo of the occurrence of pests and of boxwood cultivation practices and alternative plantings in public and private gardens in Germany
• Collecting insects in boxwood plantations to document the occurrence of pests and possibly adapted antagonists, also as part of a DAAD-funded project in the area of origin in Japan
• Laboratory experiments on interactions of the pest with certain antagonists
