• Development of an optical push and pull system to control flying insect pests in the cultivation of ornamental young plants
• Development and evaluation of light traps to catch flying insect pests
• Integration of assimilation lighting into the overall cultivation system
• Resource-related evaluation of the overall system

New cropping systems:

• Development of application techniques and crop cultivation strategies
• Development of machine concepts for sustainable intensification of crop cultivation
• Establishing a sowing system with uniform seed patterns
