Numerous field trials will begin in the SCALE-it project in 2026. In the area of plant health, trials will be conducted this year on a total of seven different crops, including grapevines and potatoes. In a short video clip, Dr. Annegret Schmitt from the Julius Kühn Institute explains the problems encountered in organic potato cultivation that are being addressed in SCALE-it. The recording was made at the Estación Experimental del Zaidín (CSIC) in Granada, Spain, where the annual project meeting took place at the end of 2025 with on the project partners.
