The Julius Kühn-Institut (JKI) is the Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants in Germany. It is a higher federal authority affiliated with the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL).
The JKI is structured into 18 specialized institutes and several service units, which are based at 9 locations in Germany. It is an employer of around 1,300 staff members.
Apprenticeships, trainee positions and internships
Every year, around 50 young people receive their vocational training in various professions at the JKI: biology lab assistant, IT technician, administrative assistant, horticulturist, agriculturist, wine grower and more. Details are given on our German website (DE)
