Friends and supporters of the JKI
Two organizations have been formed to support the Julius Kühn Institute. The GFF supports the Julius Kühn Institute as a whole, while another organization is historically associated with the Institute of Grapevine Breeding.
The organizations, which are financed by membership fees and donations, pursue exclusively non-profit purposes. They aim to support the JKI materially and non-materially in its research, as well as to promote young scientists and scientific exchange of experience at JKI.
