• Participation in the preparation EU-monographs for active substances
• Advising the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL)
• Morphological diagnostics of harmful arthropods within the framework of the JKI's tasks as National Reference Laboratory (NRL)
• Biology and epidemiology of pest-arthropods in medicinal and aromatic plants and of soil-associated harmful arthropods
• Sustainable control-strategies for integrated and organic cltivation
