- Research project: Resistance of sugar beet to the invasive γ-proteobacterium Candidatus Arsenophonus phytopathogenicus and its vector, planthopper Pentastiridius leporinus (PENTA-Resist)
- Development of novel formulations for behavior manipulating strategies for the biological control of Cacopsylla picta, the vector of apple proliferation in laboratory and semi-field trials
- Testing novel formulations with entomopathogenic fungus in laboratory and semi-field settings
- Behavioral bioassays with insects
- Analysis of volatile (fragrances) and other plant metabolites
- Development of vector-independent pathogen transmission
- Measurement of feeding behaviour of cicadas using electropenetrography (EPG)
- Analysis of potentially bioactive components using gas chromatography coupled with electroantennographical detection (GC-EAD) on cicada antennae
- Studies on the biology of Pentastiridius leporinus and its interactions with the host plant
