• Participation in the EU project "CAPITALISE: Combining approaches for photosynthetic improvement to enhance sustainability in European agriculture."
• Modeling and assessing the environmental and socio-economic impacts of crops with enhanced photosynthetic performance.
• Prospective impact assessment by integrating a multiscale crop model with the principles of life cycle thinking, taking into account the phenotypic plasticity of photosynthetic organisms and their effects on the environment and socio-economy.
• Utilizing a multidisciplinary and integrative modeling approach to find the best tradeoff between yield and sustainability.
