Drift reducing seed drills
Pneumatic seed drills for seeding maize seeds treated with methiocarb have to be inspected by the JKI. This applies for precision seed drills as well as for universal drills.
The listed models of seed drills with the associated conversion kit were tested by the JKI regarding dust drift during seeding. In comparison to unmodified precision seed drills working with vacuum, the listed models achieved a reduction of drift values by 90% minimum. The conversion kits have to be installed corresponding to the attached installation guide.
