Assignments and Research Activities:
Research associate in the research group “Beneficial arthropods and functional biodiversity” in the project “National Monitoring of Biodiversity in Agricultural Landscapes (MonViA)”.
- Coordinate and implement a monitoring of natural antagonists in orchards.
- Development and validation of non-invasive survey techniques for indicator taxa (primarily hoverflies).
- Research on the importance of orchards as refugial habitats in agricultural landscapes.
- Assessment of the effects of land-use systems on population size, species diversity and fitness of indicator taxa.
