Assignments and Research Activities:

Research associate in the research group “Beneficial arthropods and functional biodiversity” in the project MonViA (National Monitoring of Biodiversity in Agricultural Landscapes).

• Monitoring of insect diversity and abundance with various methods in permanent agricultural grasslands (hay meadows)
• Testing of specific groups of parasitoid Hymenoptera as bioindicators for insect diversity, land use intensity and surrounding landscape structure
• Assessment of seasonal activity in relation to potential resources in the agricultural landscape
• Comparison of sampling methods and testing of specific parasitoid Hymenoptera for their qualification as indicators for a long-term trend monitoring
