• Head of the research group of "Diagnosis and Histopathology"
• Diagnostic investigations of Pathogens of Pest and Beneficial Arthropods within the framework of registration, development, application and import of microbial products (micro-organisms and viruses)
• Characterisation and classification of arthropod pathogens with light, electron and confocal microscopy, investigations on pathogenicity and host range
• Evaluations on the potential of natural antagonists (especially of micro-organisms and viruses) in limiting pest gradations
• Maintenance of the Database on Arthropod Diseases
