Assignments and Research Activities:

Research associate in the research group “Beneficial arthropods and functional biodiversity” in the project “Integrated control of Senecio by antagonists and production technology”

• Rearing of Senecio antagonists, especially cinnabar moth (Tyria jacobaeae) and flea beetle (Longitatsus jacobaeae), under controlled conditions
• Evaluation of population parameters (feeding amount, mortality, reproduction rate)
• Examination of feeding preferences of the antagonists on Senecio species
• Testing the efficiency of the use of antagonists under controlled conditions
