Assignments and Research Activities:

Research assistant and PhD student in the research groups "Natural Substances" and "Phytopathology" within the framework of the internally founded project "Modelling of drought stress tolerance in barley using biological plant protection – the crop of tomorrow".

• Investigation of barley accessions for resistance to Blumeria graminis f. sp. hordei (powdery mildew of barley) with and without drought stress
• Investigation of the influence of biologicals on the resistance of barley to powdery mildew and drought stress tolerance
• Expression studies in barley on drought stress regulated genes and to determine the mechanisms of action of selected biologicals
