Experts of the Julius Kühn Institute (JKI) (Prof. Dr. Johannes Hallmann and Dr. Cornel Adler) present their research on nematodes and storage insects. Conditions favoring nematode damage to carrots, beets and potatoes and options for their management are presented. Also pest-proof storage protection via sealing, gas-tight storage or the application of a vacuum will be discussed.
