Experts of the Julius Kühn Institute (JKI) (Prof. Dr. Johannes Hallmann and Dr. Cornel Adler) present their research on nematodes and storage insects. Conditions favoring nematode damage to carrots, beets and potatoes and options for their management are presented. Also pest-proof storage protection via sealing, gas-tight storage or the application of a vacuum will be discussed.  

The BIOFACH is the world’s leading trade fair for organic food. The BIOFACH Congress revolves around practice-oriented topics and helpful, fact-based conversations. In 2017, the organic world will meet again in Nuremberg to discuss important topics, learn from each other and pass on knowledge.
