Assignments and Research Activities:

• relevance, dynamic and ecology of non-rodents and genetically based rodenticide resistance in horticulture, agriculture and forestry
• monitoring, consequences and management of genetically based rodenticide resistance vertebrates including rodents
• residues, risk evaluation and mitigation of pesticides for protection of vertebrates such as amphibian, wild boars and predators (e. g. birds of prey, mustelidae)
• development of management methods to avoid damages on cultivated plants by non-rodents (e. g. crows)
• modelling for analysis, simulation and prognosis of population dynamics concerning rodenticide resistance as well as non- rodents
• official assessment of nesting boxes
• evaluation of active substances and products concerning registration
