• Head of the gassing facility of the Institute for Stored Product Protection
• Development and implementation of novel test methods for stored product protective agents
• Chemical-analytical studies on the fate and behaviour of stored product protective agents, in particular gaseous substances and insecticides
• Design and validation of methods for identifying potentially resistance storage pests
• Developing methods for the control of stored product pest insects and mites by means of insecticide gases
• Support in questions concerning the efficacy of stored product protective chemicals in the course of JKI consultations for the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL)
