Assignments and Research Activities:
Research associate in the research group of "Beneficial Arthropods and Functional Biodiversity" the project "Optimization of beneficial insect promotion in protected areas to strengthen biological plant protection" (BfN project Schutzhochzwei).
- Planning and implementation of an exemplary field study on the development of pest impact and beneficial insect populations on arable land.
- Recording and evaluation of population development of aphidophagous hoverflies in protected area plots and comparison plots of the field study.
- Evaluation of the feeding ecology and fitness status of these beneficial insects in relation to available food resources.
