  • Study of insect population dynamics and long-term data, to understand the impacts of environmental changes (climate change, land-use change etc.) on the resistance and resilience of plants and to seek for more sustainable strategies
  • Development of indicators and methods, to assess the impacts of biodiversity decline and loss of of insects on plant-pathogen and plant-insect interactions in agricultural systems
  • Analysing causes and consequences of biodiversity losses in agro-ecosystems with a focus on the relationship between biodiversity and ecosytem functions
  • Investigation of long-term environmental changes and stress factors at different levels (from direct and indirect effects), with a special emphasis on climate change and insects
