The JKI conducts classic press and public relations work covering the following areas:
- Responding to journalist inquiries or connecting them with experts for specific issues of crop research.
- Issuing of press releases

- Responding to requests for images in connection with reporting on JKI topics
- Organization of or participation in events to help raise public awareness
- Coordination of participation in selected fairs and central initiatives in the agricultural sector
- Organization of guided tours for visitors (on request)
