Scientific collaboration in the project „FAIR-Fields“,

• analysis of the effect of wheat genotype and pre-crop on the composition and ecological performance of soil microbial communities (archaea, protists, bacteria, fungi) in the rhizosphere,
• evaluation of the effects of agricultural practices (e.g. crop rotation, sowing time, reduced use of plant protection products) on the aboveground health of wheat,
• analysis of the effects of sustainable agricultural practices (e.g. agroforestry, flower strips) on diversity, composition, pathogenicity and ecological functions of soil microbiomes,
• method development for real-time PCR, amplicon sequencing and bioinformatics analysis of microbiome datasets
